Calmdays can be used at any time throughout the day. We recommend taking Calmdays in the morning for calm and balance, throughout the day if you're in need of focus, or in the evening to unwind and relax before bed. Take regularly for best results.

No. Whilst you may start looking forward to the calm and clear headed feeling you get from Calmdays, all our ingredients are non addictive.
The active ingredients in Calmdays are Ashwagandha, L-theanine and Magnesium. Other ingredients include; electrolytes (sodium citrate, potassium chloride), inulin, natural flavouring, maltodextrin, stevia.
Each of the ingredients included in Calmdays has undergone multiple clinical trials with humans. We are committed to only including ingredients that have numerous scientific studies that show significant benefits.
Calmdays contains a blend of adaptogens, vitamins and minerals and your body can adapt to some of them (losing effectiveness) if you continue using them without a break . For the best benefit, we recommend taking Calmdays 5 days on, 2 days off. Calmdays doesn't contain any ingredients that cause a dependency so you take it safely everyday if you wish. However, we do recommend taking 2 days off each week for optimum results.
Adaptogens are plants and herbs that help the body react and recover from different types of stress. They have been used for centuries in Chinese and Ayurvedic cultures, they help bring the body back into a natural state of balance.
A traditional Ayurvedic herb, Ashwagandha is the world's most researched and tested adaptogen.In clinical studies of this particular Ashwagandha extract, it has been proven to reduce daily stress response by 62.2%. Multiple studies have shown improvement in stress and anxiety scores after supplementation with ashwagandha.
L-theanine is an amino acid found in green and black tea leaves. It works to improve the balance of chemicals in the brain (serotonin, dopamine and cortisol) that influence mood and stress levels. Research has shown that l-theanine appears to improve levels of relaxation without having a sedative effect.
Magnesium is one of the most important minerals in our body, it gets depleted when we experience periods of high stress. With low magnesium levels, we become more sensitive to stressful events and even the smallest things can trigger a large stress response from our body and deplete levels further.
We don't recommend using Calmdays whilst pregnant due to the limited research of Ashwagandha use in pregnancy. Instead we suggest you get hold of L-Theanine and Magnesium Glycinate. These are the other two main ingredients in Calmdays and can provide a similar albeit less impactful effect.
For most medication (SSRIs, antidepressants included) Calmdays is safe to use alongside. We wouldn't recommend using Calmdays if you are on any blood pressure medication. As always if you are unsure please consult your doctor or physician before consuming.
There are no common side-effects. In the event that you do experience side-effects or illness please consult your doctor.
Whilst there is no evidence to suggest any ingredients in Calmdays could be harmful to children we recommend that Calmdays be consumed only by adults 18+.
